Camping Paradis L’Orangeraie- Castellón- Valence – Càlig

Description :

A touch of paradise between the palm trees.
Swim between the palm trees with views of the Mediterranean. Enjoy the countryside of inland Spain and the excitement of the coast; it’s all possible at Paradis L’Orangeraie Campsite. This is a picture postcard campsite, just a bit away from the busy coast. Relax in the rural surroundings or discover the lovely medieval towns in the vicinity. Sports enthusiasts can go on challenging mountain bike trips in the area. If you want some action, you can be on the boulevard at Benicarló or Peñíscola within half an hour.
This lovely campsite is in the province of Valencia, about ten kilometres inland from the Costa del Azahar, which means Orange Blossom Coast, due to the many orange trees in this area. The campsite is located in beautiful rural surroundings and is attractively laid out. The camping pitches and rental accommodation are positioned among the olive, orange and palm trees. You can relax completely here.
Swim with views of the sea
A nice swimming pool is of course a part of a campsite holiday in Spain. That’s taken care of at Paradis L’Orangeraie Campsite. You can plunge into a lovely, large swimming pool with a toddlers’ pool, slides, a bubble bath and a water playground. The swimming pool laid out in an informal way in a lovely spot next to the restaurant, between the palm trees. There are sun loungers and wicker parasols around the pool. You can see the sea in the distance which gives wonderfully relaxing views. The swimming pool is also fitted with a harness for guests with a disability.
Birds of prey demonstrations
You can take part in fun activities in the summer, such as aqua gym and dancing lessons, or challenge each other to a round of table tennis or tennis. In high season you’ll hit the jackpot with special cultural activities, such as the whirling flamenco show or an exciting birds of prey demonstration. Have you ever seen from close up how big these birds are? There is no mini club or extensive children’s entertainment at this campsite, but you can meet people yourself at the swimming pool, the table tennis table and at the enjoyable activities.
A refreshing drink on the terrace
If you feel like a pizza, a sandwich, an ice cream or some grilled chicken, you should go to the bar/snack bar next to the swimming pool. You can take away delicious snacks or enjoy a bite to eat and a drink on the terrace. You can also buy basic provisions and baguettes at the campsite. For more shopping you can walk to the village of Calig in ten minutes, or you can rent bikes and cycle to the coastal resort of Benicarló, which is about ten kilometres away. The road there goes downhill, so you must be prepared to climb up a bit on the way back.
Coast and countryside, the best of both worlds
The Mediterranean Sea beckons you from the campsite. If you want a day on the beach or boulevard, you can drive to Benicarló in about twenty minutes. The lovely historic town of Peñíscola with its impressive castle high up is a half hour drive away. Both towns offer you lovely sandy beaches, an attractive historical centre and plenty of places to eat. The zoo at Peñiscola, the Jardin de Papagayo is a great trip out for the whole family.
But it’s worth visiting inland. You can take lovely walking and cycling trips from the campsite through the rural surroundings full of olive groves interspersed with lovely old towns. You’ll be away from the masses here but can still see and discover everything. An hour’s drive will take you to the Parc Natural de la Tinença de Benifassà nature reserve; a rugged area with wonderful hiking and mountain biking.
